The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services Team:

RTX has an opening for a Middleware Integration Senior ETL Developer (Manager, Business Systems and Transformation) position.


The Middleware Integration Senior ETL Developer will be responsible for design and development of new data integration scope on the Mission Critical Informatica PowerCenter ETL platform.  

This role will also require participation in the Production support rotation which involves sustaining the platform and delivering innovative, high quality support services to our customers.  Due to the high level of interaction with customers in the business, this individual must possess strong communication skills, work well in team environments and be able to trouble shoot issues independently and effectively. 

What You Will Do:

  • Contributes to the functional roadmap and ETL data integration strategy for the Enterprise, including input into processes, policies, standards or operating plans in support of the functional strategy.
  • Provides engineering input into the overall architecture of our ETL solutions.
  • As a developer, designs and builds mappings, transformations, and workflows, working closely with Business Analysts, Project Managers and customers to refine requirements and document technical designs.
  • Supports detailed reviews of design and code to ensure maximum use of reusable modules, minimal impact on existing applications and systems, the highest possible overall quality, etc.
  • Unit test, Integration test and Stress test interfaces using vendor tools and external test simulation tools.
  • As a support analyst, provides advanced problem solving and technical support, including on-call critical support as well as assist in continuous review and enhancement of team procedures to increase the team's effectiveness and efficiency in the support of our clients.
  • Serves on 24x7 on-call support rotation for Mission Critical application.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • University Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline, and minimum 10 years related experience, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to analyze ETL data integration requirements, sources, targets, business rules and transformation logic.
  • Experience in designing and developing data extraction, cleansing, transformation, and loading processes.
  • Advanced development knowledge in creating advanced mappings, transformations, and workflows using Informatica PowerCenter 10.5+, or equivalent.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Advanced experience in database concepts and development.
  • Advanced knowledge of Linux OS as well as relational databases such as Oracle DB and SQL Server DB, as it related to interface development and support.
  • Working knowledge of ServiceNow Incident and Change management, or equivalent.
  • SAFe Agile trained or certified.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
