Senior Jira DevOps Engineer

• It is a 100% Onsite position.
  
• The Candidate must be willing to report to work onsite in Washington, D.C.
  
• Duration: 12-month engagement with possible extension
  

• Looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the deployment, configuration, and integration of Jira SaaS in a secure government cloud environment.
  
• This role is ideal for someone passionate about Agile transformation, DevSecOps automation, and enterprise tool integration.
  

• Administer, configure, and optimize Jira SaaS for enterprise Agile delivery.
  
• Design and implement integrations with GitLab, ServiceNow, and other platforms using REST APIs, webhooks, and scripting.
  
• Lead the migration from Azure DevOps and GitLab to Jira SaaS.
  
• Collaborate with Agile and cybersecurity teams to enable automation, compliance, and robust reporting.
  

Requirements

• 3+ years of Jira administration/engineering (SaaS or on-prem).
  
• Proficient in scripting (Python, PowerShell, or JavaScript).
  
• Strong understanding of Agile (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and DevSecOps principles.
  
• Hands-on experience integrating enterprise tools and optimizing workflows.
  

• Atlassian certifications (ACP-620, ACP-120, or equivalent).
  
• Experience with Confluence, Bitbucket, or other Atlassian tools.
  
• Familiarity with secure/federal environments (FedRAMP, FISMA, SOX).
